FAQs

What is the minimum age and height to drive a kart?

The minimum age to drive our junior karts is 8 and there is a minimum height requirement of 130cm (4’3”). We do have a twin seater that can take passengers from 5 years old. The minimum age to drive our adult karts is 14 years old.

What clothing should I wear?

For Karting we provide a race suit, balaclava, helmet and gloves however we require you to wear sensible flat, closed toe shoes (no heels, open toed shoes, sandals or crocs). Gloves and balaclavas are mandatory for karting events and we recommend that, where possible, you bring your own. Drivers without their own racewear will be able to buy an accessory pack, including helmet liner and gloves, or use the freshly laundered racewear provided. For Paintball we will provide a mask and camouflage overall, but recommend you wear sensible shoes/boots as you will be running on uneven and slippery terrain. We strongly recommend boots with ankle support.

Can I use my Go-Pro?

Following guidelines from the National Karting Association (NKA) & Motorsport UK, Go-Pros and similar are not permitted for use during Hire Kart activities. Owner Drivers may use them but only if the camera is securely mounted to the kart’s bodywork. Helmet mounts and chest mounts are not permitted.

What happens if it rains?

All activities go on! For Karting we provide rain suits to keep you as warm and dry as possible, however it is always worth bringing a change of clothes.
