Senior Sprint Round
£63.00
Our 2023 Championships will run over 9 rounds starting in February. Held on the first Sunday of the month, the series will give drivers the opportunity to pit their skills against each other in the highly competitive race days.
For the Senior Championship, the 1200 metre circuit is one of the longest and most technical in the UK which means that you’ll feel your skills improving in every round. The senior grid is split into Heavyweight (80kg +) and Lightweight (<80kg) classes and incorporates the addition of the Rookie Cup for newcomers to the championship. Any new drivers aged 14 & 15 years old must complete a driver assessment prior to taking part.
We have once again teamed up with the British Prokart Endurance Championship to offer the top three finishers, in both classes, the chance to compete in the BPEC 6 hr at Warden Law in November.
For budding race drivers aged 8 to 13 years old when starting in the championship, the 2023 Cadet & Junior Sprint Championship is the place to be. Juniors can compete in our Sodi 160cc karts around the 850m circuit layout. Please note: All drivers must have previously completed a timed session on the 850m circuit before entering the championship.
NEW FOR 2023, drivers will be allocated championship points following each race day for either the Cadet Championship (for drivers aged 8 to 11 years when they start the championship) or the Junior Championship (for drivers aged 12 and 13 years when they start the championship), so double the prizes will be awarded at the end of the Championship!
A championship registration fee is payable at the time of booking your first round(s). You can take part in the whole series or pick and choose the months you want to compete, however bonus points will be awarded to drivers participating in every round.
Running both a light weight (<80kg) and heavy weight (80kg+) series, each driver will complete a 15 minute qualifier, 15 minute prefinal and 15 minute final. Grid positions for the prefinals will be determined by fastest lap times in each qualifier, and grid positions for the finals will be determined by finishing positions in the prefinals. For full event details see the regulations below.
