Karting North East began building the first circuit at Warden Law in the autumn of 1996. The original 800 metre circuit was then extended in 1999 creating one 1200 metre circuit or two shorter layouts. Further improvements have included workshops and a new reception building to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

The circuit is also floodlit so you can experience the thrills of high speed racing at night. Karting North East is constantly developing the extensive off-road area to offer guests an exciting range of activities at our multi-activity centre. The centre is the home of the Tyne & Wear Kart Club, responsible for monthly owner driver race days at Karting North East. Our onsite Kart Shop offers a range of karts, spares and clothing suitable for beginners to experienced drivers.

New for 2008, Karting North East has opened a brand new circuit at Warden Law exclusively for junior karters, to introduce children to the thrill of kart racing.
