Junior Race Night - January 2007

A new year, a new junior championship, but once again Jake Forster proved hard to beat, with his laid back, smooth driving style. Jake sailed to a comfortable win of 4 seconds over second place driver Daniel Barber, with Ben Grindle finishing 3rd despite starting from the back of the grid.

Ben Gray, who started second in the final after winning two of his heats, got off the line slowly and had a coming together with Jack Broughton at the Dunlop chicane, resulting in both drivers ending up on the grass. Chasing from the back, Ben clocked a great lap time of 58.996 matching the leader Jake Forster's best lap of 58.942.

Driver of the Day went to Jonathan Burgen for his overall performance on the day. All 17 drivers had some great, close racing and are looking forward to the next one.,
